Nothing looks set to stop the event now, even the rain forecast seems to be easing a bit!!
Organisers have been to the gardens this week, and all owners and gardens themselves are ready and willing to welcome the Ramblers. Unfortunately there is the forecast of rain, so please be prepared for that – and if an area has to be closed off because it is too slippery, please understand. We have had an update from Council re the ongoing roadworks as follows
- Seabreeze Drive remains closed to Molesworth Drive
- Stop-go/one lane traffic management remains in place for the shared path works north of the causeway
- There will be stop-go on the intersection improvements over the weekend as United Civil will be working for part of the time, the same as there has been during the week.
Ramblers should allow time to get through the works, as they would have when they travel through at any other time.
All gardens now have QR Codes and alternate sign-in sheets. Hand sanitiser has been donated by Mangawhai Heads Four Square – one of the many local businesses that support the event. On-line bookings have now closed, but you can still get tickets from Bammas at the Village, from Mangawhai Books and Gifts at the Heads and from Wyatts Landscape Supplies.
Looking forward to seeing you over the weekend and remember that all proceeds are for the benefit of the kindy kids.
